This method is written for players with little or no music-reading experience who just want a good grounding in the artistry of classical guitar. The first step to learning is developing good technique. I’m not gonna lie; it’s no easy thing. Stick to the practice routine I give you, play every day, and progress will come. The lessons on my website follow a logical, systematic order for gradual improvement. If you are a more advanced player, feel free to look and start ahead, but I strongly encourage all beginners to start from the beginning! (If the first few lessons seem too easy, then play them as a warm up.) For practice, I’d suggest you take a week to complete each lesson. If it takes a little longer or shorter, that’s fine. Don’t forget to download the practice tracks that compliment the method. Since all the exercises are in tablature you will need to hear the examples to get the right rhythm and timing down of the song.
